This Halloween Tara and I went to the Halloween Dance at the REC center at school. I dressed up as Profesor Chaos aka Butters from South Park and Tara dressed up as Little Dead Riding Hood. Tara won the costume contest!! She won a $100 gift certificate to our local outdoor shop basically a very very small REI

Trip to Deadhorse in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska

I was sent up to Deadhorse to be a marine mammal observer only to find out that they really did not need me but I ended up getting paid anyways. Here are pix from my trip and as you can see there is nothing there it is literally a huge oil field.When I flew home from Deadhorse we flew over Barrow so the pix above it are what Barrow looks like.

I took a tug boat to a barge but ended up not doing any work since the whole crew had to go back due to weather conditions. The bright orange suit is a mustang suit which keeps me warm in case i fall in the water.

I was sent up to Deadhorse in Prudhoe Bay Alaska to be a marine mammal observer. I ended up not doing any work since my boat never went out and the operation was canceled because Shell inc. couldn't get their act together. As you can see it is a pretty desolate area and this is where the majority of the oil comes from in Alaska and goes down the Alaska pipeline.

Mardi Gras Dance
